About Girl Group In Progress

Girl Group In Progress is an upcoming project based in the areas around Washington, DC. The main goal is to create a group of female/feminine labeled artists who share the passion for music performing. We are looking for a group of people who are dedicated and excited to start this journey with us. From learning to work as a team to producing our own music and creating our own choreographies, We hope to improve many skills and have lots of fun, and one day end up on the big screens.

The idea of Girl Group In Progress started as a way to give opportunities to feminine labeled people to start a possible career in the music industry. It began from the idea that this area had a lack of music projects that gave the tools and experience needed, along with lack of creative freedom to create truly what you would want. We want to allow anyone regardless of skill level to be able to achieve their dreams and become an established artist.

Learn to bring all of your energy and confidence to the stage.

Work towards improving stability of coinciding singing and dancing.

Perform live in front of an audience. Starting with family and friends, hopefully moving towards bigger goals.

Producing

Creating Songs -
Create original songs, from the lyrics to the beat.

Learn to produce and edit music videos and covers.
